Here is the story I got from someone connected with Georgia. The team Drs declared him ready to play with 3-4 games left in the regular season. His parents hired a private Dr without the teams knowledge who then said he wasn’t ready to play and could damage his NFL future by returning. Smart went ballistic and said he would play or quit. The parents then found a Dr to give him a positive Covid test even though he wasn’t sick so he wouldn’t have to play and Kirby couldn’t kick him off the team. He will never play another down for Georgia?
