Mine was the Spanish Gallen in OD mid 70’s early 80’s…. Even worked there on the weekends I like it so much…
I have spent many of evenings at the S.G. How about Crazy Zaks?

My go to back in the day were Charlie's (Charlie Floyd) and sandpiper. Charlie's first, them on to sandpiper (in M.I.).

I was at the Galleon a few times. Many moons ago, remember seeing Steve Courson(OL) there. He looked like the Incredible Hulk. It was a cool place to go back then.

Bow Room, Group, Pavlov's, Village Idiot and a few others that I can't remember and don't exist. Anyone remember Stickey's? The cops were crawling all over 5 points back then.

It's still a thing and probably looks the same... cages and all. I was planning to go there for News Year's and stay at the OD hotel connected to it. The Embers were playing NYE. Had to cancel when something unforeseen came up tho. Hoping next year.

Many moons ago I used to go to the Tallyho across from the fair grounds.
It was small but a great hangout. The owner was a guy named Lenny.

Sad to say, but I think it was Tabard Inn Tuesday, Daddy's Saloon Wednesday and Diamond Disco Thursday, we rested on the weekends! Lucky we're all still here!

Way back during the summers it was The Hoppin Hutch in Myrtle Beach. It was a log cabin structure about 1st Ave between 17 and Ocean Blvd. Popular locals bar. Once while drinking my Boone's Farm and watching some friends shooting pool I felt someone breathing on the top of my head I turned around and it was Danny Traylor, all 7 foot leaning over me.

I guess nobody else on here from the Charleston area circa late 70’s to early 80’s.Capt Harry (Corcoran) and Jimmy Buffet were good Bud’s and hung out in the Caribbean during the day.The Blue Marlin had that Key West feel about it.Still my favorite.

I was more of a Flying Dutchman kinda guy. Stonehenge was a backup. Saw a lot of good bands in their early years at both.

So many bad memories. I have no idea if any of those places are still open.
Rockafella's is now Jake's. I believe it has been for quite a while. I have a funny (mildly unnerving) story about some skinheads trying to recruit me in there one St Pat's. I'm pretty sure Group Therapy is still open. I believe Tanneyhill owns it.
