What a reward for our players having made a goal line stand at the end of the half.

Literally everything we've seen from him since the day he was hired just screams in over his head.
So insane that you need a rebuild thanks to letting boosters take over the program in 23 and instead of bringin in an old
Salt HC who has rebuilt a few programs
You bring in a coordinator who has never been a HC let alone rebuild an entire program on a shoestring budget. Smacks forehead
This is why GOATs talk of willie fritz or Gus is actually smart

Yes I clamored for Gus a lot last year mainly because I wanted a proven head coach that had won in the sec. I was also good on cignetti although limited HC experience at a d1 school but dude just wins. Coordinators have to learn on the job and we would rather keep giving chances to guys to learn on the job in the SEC now we get the 2-10 results that come from doing that

Like the guy we had before. But our idiots in the admin said you know what l? Let's do that again. It will be different this time. Meanwhile cignetti just went 10-0 and was available.
Cignetti is just a bad @SS. There are guys out there like that. Watching michigan and indiana. Michigan should just hire IUs AD because he knows what the 17 hes doing

I was high on Lebby & still think he's one of the best offensive minds in college football, but when he hired Hutzler & after looking at Hutzler's resume, I knew he was in over his head. And a retread has been for DL coach..

I had to remain positive because I didn't want my boys to get down too soon. But they now know & it doesn't matter what I say.

I was a proponent of a head coach at a lower level. If you can build, you can build regardless of level.

I just want someone to tell me why they'd hire Lebby over a guy like Cignetti.

It was so obvious we needed a head coach with experience. We were, and are, in a very precarious situation. Very real risk we may be cellar dwellers for several years.

Lebby is a pretty
good
OC. Playcaller. I wouldn’t necessarily say a great offensive mind. his system has only worked with a great talent advantage. Thats not usually our situation.

We could be cellar dwellers, but in the NIL era, with the right coach & leadership, we could be competitive.

I would once like to have leadership at State that handles adversity well. Just once in my lifetime.
