I think the elephant in the room with Polk's retirement......is that the NCAA is NOT FINISHED with their investigation of the baseball team. There just might be some smoke drifting in the wind.

If the Ncaa thinks we were practicing 8 hours per day, the committee themselves need to be locked up. I doubt anything will come of that.

Doubtful, if anything was a drift it would be very minor things..and if they are coming after polk..well they don't have to anymore.

I think the old skipper has decided that the war is over, the ncaa has created rules that will change the way he creates a team, and will never be the way he wants it.
Next year, he would be forced to do what he said he wouldn't do, and thats to cut the squad size, and change the way he has been since day one.
