What chance do you think we have of winning Saturday?

I think we might have a 30-35% chance of winning. The clemson D is monumentally better than UT, Rattler will have to get rid of the ball quickly and the O line will have to find a way to keep him from having to run for his life all day. We have to establish some sort of running game. If we can't run the ball and are in second and third and long all day we have very little chance of winning. The UT pass D is about the worst in the country, we won't have those open receivers running downfield Saturday. Rattler will have to throw in some tight windows and put the ball on the money.

On defense, we have to get to Uglylaylee. He is not much of running threat and he doesn't like or do well under pressure. We can't let Shipley run free either.

I thought we had a chance last year. But then they used formation to spread us out on defense and just ran over us. The quarterback didn't have to do anything. I don't see why that wouldn't work again. The question is whether or not we have uncovered an offense - something we never did during the regular season last year. If we have, the dynamics of this game will be different and our chances will improve. 35%-40% chance.

It is interesting. The problem for us at this minute is that their strength on offense (Shipley) has been a weakness for us as of late. On defense, their strength (DL) will match against what at times has been a liability.

For us to have a chance, we have to stop the run. I don’t think DJU can beat us without a running game. On offense, we have to do similar things as we did last week; getting the ball out quick with pre-snap reads and running the underneath crossing routes.

Linebacker play and sure tackling are a must to stop Shipley and make Ugly throw to beat us.

I believe we man up on the receivers and stack the box and make them throw the ball to bear us.

If Rattler has more than 2 seconds to process things- Clemson doesn’t stand a chance. Unfortunately, they probably have the horses to pressure him enough.

Good call........I figured somewhere in the 30 percentile range too. The taters have shown some vulnerability this season. We have to figure out what to do about their front 7 on D and how to make DJU pass more than he wants to. At least it gives me hope.

They haven't been explosive offensively but are still going to be one of the best defenses we've played. It's really all going to hinge on creativity by Sat and the offensive staff and Rattler. If the Mizzu, FL, Georgia Rattler shows up we're done. If the last week Rattler shows up we can't lose.

I think Vegas is giving us an 11% chance, which increases from around 9% before last week. Seems as if they don’t believe we can duplicate our success on offense 2 games in a row, on the road, against a better defense.

Our Rush Defense has to step up if we have any chance. 2 weeks ago Florida pushed us around. I am sure that we’ll get a ton of DJ & Shipley on the ground Saturday.

Score Touchdowns instead of FGs, get a couple of turnovers and capitalize on them, and limit the rushing attack and we have a real shot.

Shipley gets a lot of attention but the one to watch out for will be Mafah. Shipley has speed but tends to go down with contact that Mafah typically runs through. Also, Shipley has not had the best ball security the last few games.

I chuckled when I read this, because as much as that guy is not a running threat, I think he's a better runner than passer.

Imo, there is a window for us as long as DJ is the qb. He's a headcase who turns the ball over and struggles throwing well. With their recruiting, I don't think clemson will be as inept at qb for long, so that window is now.

I got both my Bachelors degree and Masters degree from the University of South Carolina. For the first 22 years of my life that I was aware of sports, of course I wanted to beat Clemson. But, it was never a big deal to me one way or the other. But, in my first year in graduate school, I stayed on campus in a dorm. And on our floor, there were Clemson graduates who came to USC to go to either graduate school or law school. They were the most obnoxious, insufferable SOBs that you could ever imagine. I don't want to say that, like Freddie B. Cocky, that I "hate quempsum". But, since those days in grad school, I have "intensely disliked" ALL Clemson athletics.

What happens tomorrow? I think it will be a game like our game against Auburn last year. It will be close. Just like in the Auburn game last year, Clemson will screw up on Special Teams and our superb Special Teams will take advantage. Just like last year's Auburn game, we will win 21-17.

Yeah, I'd love for Beamer and the boys to take no prisoners alive, throwing them out of the stadium. But, I'll settle for a close win and, thus be happy.

They will mimic Arkansas's gameplan offensively, and have a much more superior pass rush then Tenn.

But, I like Adkins is pass protection and if Spencer can get in the zone or is still in it, and has the same mindset as last week, throw Juice the ball 15 times we can be aggressive and get a lead and take them out of the run game, we have a chance

We’ve played really well offensively in 1 game this year. We’ll have to have close to that type of performance to win today. It doesn’t have to be 63 points, but just competent. It may be 35 points, but no wasted possessions. We’ve done it once in 11 games. I’d give us about a 10% chance of winning today based on that, being on the road, and especially with it being the first time we’ve played there since 2018. Not to mention we haven’t really played them close in recent history. It has been a long time since we’ve just given them a game. So I can’t go into this extremely confident. But last week certainly gave me some hope.

Then…on defense. We’re going to get a heavy dose of DJ and their 2 backs. This game may come down to Pickens clogging up the middle, and not missing tackles. If the offense doesn’t show, it won’t matter. But if our offense shows up, the D has to figure out how to stop their rushing attack.
