What exactly were the differences last night

One thing I noticed was how quickly Rattler was getting the ball out. I didn't start watching until a little before half. He threw 2 BEAUTIFUL passes down the sidelines. Both were dropped, but he hit them in the hands in stride at full speed in tight coverage. They definitely redeemed themselves on the next couple plays, though. It seemed like he was just slinging it and was extremely accurate.

It also felt like we were doing much better run stopping.

Otherwise, I can't put my finger on exactly what was so different last night. We just looked like such a strong team. It was so exciting to watch.

I was definitely one who thought we were going to get killed. And I have never been so happy to have been proven wrong. If Satt can call games like this then I can accept being wrong and apologize.

Oline. Only one sack and 2 hurries.

A lot of what we ran last night we have tried in several games. But when the Dline is in your backfield as soon as the ball is snapped, no plays are going to work. There wasn't that much really new. Rattler just had time, especially to go down field, and other players executed.

Great game by the coaches. All of them. This team could have mailed it in after last week, but the coaches got it done. Something to continue to build on.

People also depend on random stats to decide how a game should go. It's all about matchups. One or two mismatches or injuries can drastically change an outcome, especially at critical positions.

Guys, we just played better on both sides of the ball! Held their run game down, covered well enough to keep their big plays down, no big sacks but had constant pressure on hooker and held the edge well!
Rattler actually had a pocket and instead of rolling he finally could step up that made a world of difference, bell nutted up and ran the ball exceptionally well for someone thats never played the position, receivers had time to get open and made the catches they had been dropping, the dak wrinkle really helped, they weren’t expecting that! Plus we bullied them from the get, you got to punch people in the mouth and keep at it, we were nasty all night! Great job by the coaches to get them READY to play, something I haven’t seen in a while and could serve us well next week!

We were not predictable and we threw the ball downfield.
We threw more over the middle. It’s hard to tell on TV, but when I could see we seemed to be doing less zone blocking. We ran far less slow developing plays. On D the ends appeared to crash down more.
