Jeez... was discussing schedule with friends and we agreed this is as good as it's ever going to get playing in the B1G. In fact, if we had a great team, this is the stuff of playoff dreams. We'll be put to the fire early but versus teams we certainly can beat... and we have 2 weeks to prepare for michigan (that said, i don't think i've ever seen a team f up those 2 week gifts like we do.... repeatedly). osu at home. msu at home. seriously, this is a dream schedule and nothing less than 8-4 is acceptable.

If we had a brand new QB i would be thinking 5-7 but with a battle tested Clifford and what I expect will be a defense that improves considerably by mid-season, I'm very optimistic. Frankly, if our OL is solid our running game should be much better and the rest falls into place. Stay healthy, 10-2 is a realistic goal.

Of course we all know i'm a rose colored glasses kinda guy....

Right.... lol.

BTW... losses AT michigan and at home vs osu. that's it.

When it comes to PSU football, I am a fan.....a spectator. Only participants impact the outcome.
I predict no matter the season record, fanboys will say it should have been better and the reason it wasn't is the coach. LOL

Me too. Because no one in Coach Franklin's immediate family will ever need to work a day the rest of their lives. He's already accrued north of 50 million and has 70 more guaranteed. Bring some other coach in and pay them 100 million so we can spread the wealth.....and we know PSU football will leap to the playoffs.

If only you applied this kind of deferential attitude toward other topics ... like ... say ... the justice system. Imagine if there, when you were talking about how you knew the Sandusky case, and everything around it, was mucked up, folks who actually knew the law and the justice system just repeatedly mocked you as a couch attorney/investigator/etc. I know attorneys, judges, etc. aren't as smart and qualified (and, therefore, as infallible) as college or high school football coaches, but ... you know ... try to cut them a little slack.

I agree with losses to Aub and Mich but I think this is the year we beat tOSU then probably lose to Michigan State again.

I don't know the law better than an attorney. I have never advised my dentist during root canal or an extraction. When sparks fly, I call an electrician and I have my automobile professionally serviced. I'm a couch coach during the game like most folks......but in the fina l analysis I concede that the coaching staff is more knowledgeable, is dealing with circumstances I'm unaware of and know their personnel better than I do.
My issue with the Sandusky case is not the law.....its the lairs.

I don’t judge people on the color of their skin, but rather their professional competency.

That is why I hold you and James Franklin in such low regard.
