Did someone dump a huge load of estrogen in the water supply? Between some professors running Fogelsong off because he wanted them to actually earn their paycheck, Hansborough quitting like a little girl, Polkie Sherrill going Hitler's Bunker on the MSU baseball program and trying to destroy what he built, de-committments from players whose parents went to school here and are part of the Booster Club, and Michael Brown, et. al. abusing the 2nd Amendment and getting kicked off the team, MSU is imploding more than the Rebels in the 4th quarter.

I've been reading this board for years, and from what I have learned, this has to be one of the best and brightest times for MSU and her future. I've read for years that the biggest problem with MSU was LT and Polk, so this should be time to celebrate. You must be focusing too much on things that don't matter and not enough time focusing on the only things that matter - getting rid of LT and Polk. Think about it.

things that don't matter

Those things do matter. That's the problem here. People keep saying "It doesn't matter that a player transfers every year, or that one of the best players on the football team was kicked off for blatant thuggery." If it makes you feel better, tell yourselves those things don't hurt us. But they do.

Yes, it is good that LT and Polkie are on their way out the door, but it doesn't offset the other misfortunes we are having.

If you ever change jobs do you consider yourself a "girl" whatever that means?
If you think you might like to live in another neighborhood, are you a quitter?
No?

So if you are a sophomore basketball player who will probably never play in the NBA, and you dont think you are appreciated or your skills are being utilized to their fullest potential and you want to go someplace where they will be, because this is you last shot at ORGANIZED basketball outside of a church league...why does that make you anything other than smart for doing what you think is in your best interest?

Hansborough has got a one year scholarship. Stans can pull it any time he wants to. See unlike the coach at Arkansas, Ben didnt quit in the middle of a contract or a season. He finished up his commitment and now he is ready for something else.
Leave the guy alone. If anything give him some credit for carrying Stans water on the practice facility as he heads out of town.</p>

The off season is the shake-up time. I admit the way ****'s happening in every sport raises questions, but the ball ain't going up for awhile. Might as well relax. You never know, especially when you're so damn sure that you do (know).

Personally, I'm heading for the beach tomorrow. Should be pretty.
