Utah got way too much credit for besting USC twice. Lincoln Riley brought the Big 12 style of play to USC. Great offense and no defense.

I couldn’t wrap my head around why Utah kept getting so much credit all year. Even worse, they had three losses and were 4 spots above us! I just didn’t get it.
Right? But I think the matter's been pretty well settled.
Today's headline:

He wasn't saying anything bad about the Irish, fella.
But, but, but...Utah is such a tradition-rich, storied program. They're one of the best two programs in Utah!
fowler and herbie had a lovefest going for Utah the entire game. Even when PSU took over in the 2nd half, they continued to talk up Utah. They gave a PSU compliment here and there, but nothing like for Utah.
Did fowler or herbie say anything complimentary about Franklin?
They mentioned he lost his glasses during the celebration at the end of the game. So, they were clearly concerned for his well being.

Of course he mentions Rising was out. Rising was 8-21 for 98 yards, not like he was lighting it up
Well, to his defense, he did bring up Rising's stats up to that time. He also made a postive mention of Clifford.
They talked up all the frosh, the OL, TIG and the DB's all night not to mention giving Clifford his due. They mentioned MY, Diaz, and the staff several times. Hell our long snapper got some love that was well deserved. I'm not sure how you only hear the negatives or positives for others, but there isn't some huge conspiracy there IMO.
In the writer's defense, as an UM alumna, he's very familiar with then B1G rep in the Rose Bowl getting whooped.
