Im hearing on Swan Lake somewhere around 10 million per year, per SEC school. That can't be right, can it?

I mean, it's $150 million per year. 12 SEC teams, and I assume the conference itself keeps part of that.

However, that's not all incremental revenue. I assume we were making something from the Raycom deal. So, the difference between the two (which I assume is huge) is the real increase in revenue.

Last year each school took home roughly 5.3 million. The new deal will increase revenue per school roughly 10 million, so each schools share could/should be roughlt 15 million once the new deal takes place

the ESPN/CBS combined deals add up to 205 million a year....divide that by 13 (SEC office incuded) and it should be around 15 million a year

appearances on ESPN as a result of this? OR will the SEC games still appear on the same channels as previously, but the "ESPN banner" will appear on the screen??? In other words, these games may not necessarily be on ESPN or ESPN2?????...but it is more like ESPN being a money sponsor.

that carries Raycom on my regular cable or satellite system, the games won't appear on that station UNLESS I purchase a "special package" deal??? and if, for example, FSN is currently carrying a SEC game, then I won't be able to get it unless I buy a special package???...that sucks.

Don't foreget that CBS takes the national game and ESPN gets the rest. CBS will be adding in a ton of money too, that revenue has not been disclosed yet but should now that the ESPN deal is public.

While the big news of this deal sounds like the $$$, the real big news is that ESPN is in the business to make money. So, that means that they think they are getting a deal. They will look at this like a business and promote the ever living crap out of the SEC for 15 years. Because the more they drive up the ad revenue for the TV ads and promo spots, the more they make. There is a cap on how much they owe the SEC office but not a cap on how much they think they will make.

So this all means a crap load more exposure for the SEC schools and better for us in recruiting. And yeah, much more $.
