While I'm curious, actually I had a question.

Anyone see a problem sou viding a partially frozen bone in turkey breast? I'm going to do it anyway, so I guess I want to know if I'm going to get sick.

Also - jellied cranberry sauce or au natural? Me? Jellied all day long.

Back to my kitten Percy - I got him a turkey leg at the Publix. I made one for his uncle for most of his 21 years.

Not sure what he'll do w/ it year one. Probably lick it and eat a little. I'll cut some off and give him a good meal.

His uncle Canoe took about 3 years to go from licking it to dragging it to the highest points in the house and growling at me if I tried to take it from him.

This way the cat knows it's Thanksgiving every year. The human gave me this big drumstick thing. Thanks Human.

heading down to Richmond in a few hours, there will be 44 total at the house for dinner. With that many people you have just about everything you can imagine for dinner. there are three cooking stations all going on at the same time, two in the kitchen and one in the garage where there’s an extra stove.

Outstanding, except for the 43 other people.

Would like to tell you what we are having, but at the out laws and told we are eating at 2:00. The person fixing the majority of the food at his house to bring to MIL’s, isn’t here yet.
So stinking annoying.
But, watching the Lions and Bears.

Split dinner again ( wife is a vegetarian). Turkey breast for me. Lentil loaf for her. Sweet potatoes, corn, brown and serve rolls, homemade cranberry sauce, stuffing, cheesy potatoes, and pecan pie. No booze this year. On blood thinners for a clot in my leg.

See? 3 months in, and Percival already has a holiday tradition to look forward to.

Some of you may know one of those other 43, Pete Luckie, professor/associate dean of mineral sciences dept at PSU. Probably his last thanksgiving as he is now bedridden so all families came here for the holiday.

I don‘t know him, but I’m sorry to hear of his condition.
