We, among the astute, know that the arrival of Coach P was a recent turning point in the quality of the defense. Yes, Manny has an aggressive style that applies pressure in literally three dimensions utilizing the athletes Franklin recruits, so I am hopeful Coach P lingers on the staff when Manny gets his next job. But after a few seasons in State College, its obvious to me that our DBs are learning how to play pro ball. We tackle better, our guys are more "hateful" when they collide with the other guy, our guys play all the way to the edge of pass interference just like the NFL and our guys have short memories. Do we think Coach gets enough credit? Do we know where his head is at? I know that until an assistant shaves his head like Franklin, he is a flight risk. Asking for a friend.
