When does top 25 come out?

Probably about right. I feel like 24 is more of a "we're not really sure if you belong but we can't justify keeping you out."
Tough luck to slide into the top 25 ahead of our game against UT, but unless we lose and get annihilated like we did last year, if we bounce back to beat UGA, don't think the UT loss should hurt us all that much and hopefully we stay ranked.
I think I'd prefer for this team to fly under the radar as long as possible (with an ever-improving NET ranking). I'm not sure the target on your back that comes with a poll ranking would be worth it right now.
Personally I hope we're as low as possible. I think LP and the team are thriving with the "us against the world" chip on their shoulder. I'd love to go to Rocky Top pissed off bc we're still not ranked.
Somebody said we got snubbed and arent going to be in top 25 in ap. That honestly might be the best thing going into a tough test against UT

Suppose it all depends on the makeup of the team, which only Lamont can address that. Can they handle being ranked or do they need to have the chip on the shoulder? If you desire to be a good team, at some point you have to deal with handling expectations. If this team is not at that point, they are close to it.
I don't feel that a ranking in the 21-25 range is too much in the way of rat poison. It's more a grudging acknowledgment that they can't justify keeping you out. If we came in at 18 or something silly, that would be more worrisome to me.

I haven't seen any rankings from this week but I saw an updated power ranking. It has us at #24. I don't know if this is computer generated or of it's someone's opinion.

But he even said after the mizzou win that they are so nose to the grind right now it dont really matter and they will keep doing what they need to do.
Someone posted on the insiders forum a tweet from someone that is in the know and he said that we were snubbed. Not sure if its true but we will find out shortly. I find that hard to believe.
Me too but hope it's true and hope our players are po'd.
