Sellers mentioned "things haven't gone the way he wanted this year" in his post game comments re: DC. Makes me think he hasn't practiced well, and Beamer plays the guys who practice well.
Speaking of missing players.....did Jacobs touch the field on offense vs. Missouri. I've thought for a while now that he was our best WR.
Seems to have a good feel for getting himself into position. What I really liked was his ability to catch the ball with his hands and snatch it out of the air rather than letting it land. I tend to agree that he could have been more involved. I'd say he's probably not much much different than the other wide receivers in that he's probably done some good things in practice but didn't do anything to merit starting. I think he'll be more involved the rest of the way.
