Harbaugh Leaving Michigan. Aside from John Gruden failing as a coach in his return and then getting fired when he came down with a drastic case of racism, the Raiders really haven’t been the talk of the NFL in years.
That changed Friday evening when Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis announced on the Silver and Black Podcast that the Raiders officially offered Michigan Coach Jim Harbaugh the head coaching position in Vegas.
It’s not just the head coaching position, though… according to Davis, the position is a dual one, with the title of GM thrown in.
Davis wouldn’t go into the finances of the offer, but did say Harbaugh would be “The highest paid coach in the NFL by a comfortable margin.”
When asked if this was a done deal, Davis simply said that he and Harbaugh would be holding a joint press conference this coming Tuesday.

Chris Simms is saying that the Harbaugh-to-NFL rumors are coming directly from Harbaugh, and that NFL teams have a long memory about Jim’s difficult personality. TIFWIW.
