IMO his status will change if he has a good combine. There are people who love him, and others who have forgotten about him. I hope he does well.
I'm too lazy to try to dig it up myself, but wasn't it proven that these draft gurus really have no clue what they're talking about. Rasheed Walker isn't participating in the combine. I just heard on the radio that he played on a torn meniscus last season. It makes sense why he was a shell of himself when playing. There's some buzz coming out now that he could go higher than anticipated.

On Left Tackles: “They (the Colts) may be able to grab a good Left Tackle in the 2nd round. Rasheed Walker out of Penn State who I think is the premiere pass blocking Left Tackle in this draft. He has great footwork, he’s very smooth, very athletic, knows how to bend his knees. He played on a torn meniscus last year when he really shouldn’t have so he won’t be working out at the Combine but he’s a guy that has great upside and can quickly develop into a starter.”
Not entirely. They get a fair amount of information on draft prospects from talking to people who know e.g. scouts, player personnel directors, etc. If they had to rely on their own evaluations they'd be pretty screwed.
