The Bureau operates institutions at five different security levels in order to confine offenders in an appropriate manner. Security levels are based on such features as the presence of external patrols, towers, security barriers, or detection devices; the type of housing within the institution; internal security features; and the staff-to-inmate ratio. Each facility is designated as either minimum, low, medium, high, or administrative.

Minimum Security

Minimum security institutions, also known as Federal Prison Camps (FPCs), have dormitory housing, a relatively low staff-to-inmate ratio, and limited or no perimeter fencing. Anyone think Dickie takes to a liking to manual labor?
I bet they have him working in the library...

I would be great to see him mowing the grass, I doubt he knows how...

when I was in 7th grade, they drove us over to Parchman, where a couple of inmates "boarded" our bus to teach us a lesson. I've never been so afraid in my life. I was wearing a Green Bay Packers jacket, and some <17> named Terry kept badgering me about sacking little boys like Brett Favre. Then he asked me what my favorite team was, and I said the 49ers. He looked at me all crazy-eyed for a second, then called me a liar, and started talking about "what happened to storytellers in the pen." Needless to say, it stuck with me.

Dicky will be peachy king in Pensacola. Hopefully he finds salvation within.. or a deep-voiced black man who could monologue his way out of a ******.

and get them better treatment where ever he is. That`s the way our magnificent judicial system works.

Like it says, no bars, but you knew the guards were in-charge. Sort of like a dormitory, with a court yard. Everybody had a job on base. Fairly strict guide lines. Had a workout facility.
It was understood, if you fight with another inmate, or other contact (sexual), or leave the facility without permission, next stop, the big house.

From the sentencing transcript:

But based on these considerations, Mr. Scruggs, and pursuant to the Sentencing Reform Act of 1984, it is the judgment of the Court that you be committed to the custody of the Bureau of Prisons to be imprisoned for a term of 60 months on Count 1 of this indictment. And the Court will recommend to the Bureau of Prisons that you be housed in a facility that can afford you the opportunity to participate in both mental health and drug treatment programs.

Glad to know Terry is still in there, he did the same thing to my class when I was in the 6th or 7th grade ( before Bret had made it to the pros ). It scared the hell out of me also.

That's pretty standard with all convictions.

Whether treatment is needed or not.

We'll have us a little book barbecue in the yard. They'll see the flames for miles. We'll dance around it like wild Injuns! You understand me? Catching my drift?... Or am I being obtuse?
