He will never play a meaningful snap for LSU unless it’s due to injury. After Nussmeier leaves, LSU will go get another portal quarterback for the next season. MVB will portal out of LSU at that point.

Can't run much at all but decent arm and knows the offense. Easy to defend against not a dual threat. Maybe they will open up the playbook a little more for him next year as he progresses.

Would any QB make a difference with the D3 team we put in the field this year?
This year, a tandem of Tom Brady, Joe Montana, and Peyton Manning in the prime of their careers would not have made much of a difference. I think the point is that we had a really good QB already on campus in early 2023 that we might could have held on to had we not botched the coaching hire, system change, etc.

he’s got two 50+ yard runs this year, plenty mobile enough. 247 has him on their 2025 Heisman watch list. Should have a monster year next year.
