maybe the eggbowl. I'm in baton rouge so the first two should be very manageable. I'd love to go to Atlanta but as of now that one's doubtful.

La Tech and possibly LSU. I just hate to drive to Baton Rouge knowing an *** raping is about to happen.

Football game times, unless it's a weekday game or something else special, are typically set two weeks in advance by the TV contracts. The first couple weeks of the season should be shaken out by sometime in the summer, but it's still too early.

All we know is that the La Tech game will be on ESPN or ESPN2, and I'd be willing to bet the SE Louisiana game will start at 6:00 PM because a) there's no way in hell it'll be on TV, and b) 6:00 is when September non-TV games start, unless Greg changes the policy.

I walked up and got 2 for $20 to the Memphis game two years ago and somewhere around $20-30 a piece for the state game a few years ago. You won't pay what the ticket office charges for sure.

That is if someone on here isn't getting rid of some.

Edited to add: Their scalpers aren't all like ours, they actually have quite a few actual fans selling tickets for reasonable prices.

I want to go to UT and GT.

UT simply because I've never been there, and the only places in the SEC that I haven't seen State play are there, Vandy, and Fayetteville.

GT because some of my friends want to go.

Was firing LT enough? Or do we need to fire Croom too?

Same goes for the rest of you not-supporting-the-team ********. Be part of the solution. Get on board. Make your donation and order your tickets.

I'm withholding until I see this season unfold. I think 07 was an anomally. I am donating again now that LT is gone. We'll see how 08 unfolds for Crooms before I am totally back on board

Hoping to go to LSU as well. It's been a long time since I've been to Death Valley, but it's gonna be tough swinging Baton Rouge the weekend after Atlanta.

Paper Dog is right though, there's a sporting plethora that weekend in the ATL. A lot of good SEC games that weekend too I'll be watching at the bars. If anyone is going to the Braves-Mets game, and you have some bucks to spare, get the all you can eat/drink "Golden Moon" seats. You show up when the gates open and they let you down wings and bud light all night. Tons of other food to choose from. It was cheaper last year, but it's still a good time.

not at all, i'm just not on board the Crooms bandwagon yet. Yes, he answered the bell in 07. But i'm still of the opinion that Ellis gets more credit than Crooms. And after that Spring Game, i still see nothing to think he is going to get any better.

Here's the difference- Jackie instilled a philosophy and hired people to do what he wanted. If you didnt get the job done, he fired you and got someone else.
Crooms coaches the offense. Its his baby. And we are the worst offense in the goddamn nation. While he does get credit as head coach for the wins, him being over the offense clouds our "improvement".

We'll see what happens this Fall
