I’m going to say 2010 because it cost us the SEC Tourney Championship and kept us out of the NCAA Tournament

I got over 2004 fairly quick because that team went on to have an amazing year.

I’m kinda over tonight already for whatever reason. It sucks but I don’t feel as devastated by it as the others.

I am still fuming 14 years later about 2010. Like to this day maybe the maddest I’ve ever been over an MSU sporting event. I was in Disney world following on my phone and literally chucked it halfway across Epcot when I saw what happened.

2010. I still hear Jay Bilias mention Stansbury’s decision to foul and put “a great offensive rebounding team on the line”.

Was in a sports bar in Atlanta in 2010 and thought we had that one won - and should have won it!

Will never ever forget that game! We got totally robbed!

But I also will never forget beating them in Atlanta.

2010 is forever burned into my brain as the one that was taken away from us. Another that comes to mind was back around the late 70s early 80's when we were winning at Rupp and all our starters fouled out.

In the 2010 game, we were 6-11 from the line. So maybe don't put it all on the lane violation and subsequent offensive rebound.

2010 was the absolute worst I’ve ever felt after a loss in any sport. It still pisses me off 14 years later. UK had two different players committing lane violations on the free throw. John Wall came from outside the three point line and was standing in the middle of the lane when the ball came off the rim. And he’s the one who got the rebound. Absolute robbery. If I remember correctly, Stans got a fine from the SEC for saying that Mississippi State had gotten used to bending over and taking it from the league and referees.

In retrospect 2004 might be the worst because if they win that game and the rest of season plays out the way it did they might have been a #1 seed in the tournament.
Agreed. UK was a 1-seed in spite of not winning the SEC, due to stronger RPI and tougher SOS. We are no doubt a 1-seed with that win, we don’t play red hot Xavier in the 2nd round, etc. That loss ended up being pretty devestating.

I just remember that the 2010 NCAA tournament had more called lane violations than I had ever seen. "Point of emphasis" I'm sure.

Last night's game might be the only UK loss where I'm not outraged at the officiating.
