Don't see that happening, but he's a damn good coach, and a good guy. Florida was foolish to let him go for one down year.

Elliott didn't leave a HC job at a very inopportune time for that school just to be a TE coach. I'm not saying he's THE guy for the OC gig. But I feel there were almost certainly some assurances made to him.
He's really an SEC guy, though. Played at UT, GA at Auburn, TE/RC at Missouri (where I think he recruited quite well).
The fact that offense, at 48, seems to be so good is an indication of just how awful it had been.
In my opinion, this is an absolute gift for Beamer. He got a mulligan when Nebraska took Satterfield off our hands. Loggains was underwhelming as a hire. I'd say he's proven to be competent, but that's it. He's getting another mulligan here.
