Who is O'Donnell and what ties does he have?

Been off the board for a while, and see O'Donnell.....from what I have read he is the head coach at UVA.....if he becomes and candidate what are his ties to MSU and Byrne?...My vote all along has been Cohen....with the head coach at Louisville a strong second...was never interested in Casey or Showalter...Also, what ties does the Louisville coach have to MSU or the state of MS for that matter, other than coaching at UM?....

O'Connor is the coach at UVa. Only tie he has is that he wins baseball games. McConnell is the Ville coach who coached at Ole Miss, who recruited Head and Pettway and them while Ron Polk said they weren't good enough.

O'Connor is the head coach at Virginia. Before going to Virginia he was the associate head coach and pitching coach for 9 years at Notre Dame with Paul Mainieri. Which means that he was on the ND staff at the 2000 regional in Starkville. At least he has been in the dugout and experienced the atmosphere of Dudy Noble during a regional.
