I think the loser of tOSU v. Oregon is #5.Absolutely, it gives us the best chance of getting the coveted 5th spot in the playoff bracket.

That post earned my Like not just for the points you made, but for your proper use of the phrase “couldn’t care less.” It’s rare to see that versus the incorrect “could care less” and it always drives me batty lol.I couldn’t care less who wins. Two reasons: 1) PSU will be in the playoffs regardless. 2) OSU will crush Michigan.
Hope y’all had a good Thanksgiving.
The King to the three Stooges: "You can have your heads cut off or be burned alive."Shoot me or hang me!!!
PSU will not be in the playoffs if they lose tomorrow.I couldn’t care less who wins. Two reasons: 1) PSU will be in the playoffs regardless. 2) OSU will crush Michigan.

Yes, you are correct. I think that’s pretty much the consensus on this board.PSU will not be in the playoffs if they lose tomorrow.
we need to focus on beating the Terps. This may be tougher than expected especially if the weather is sh..t.Yes, you are correct. I think that’s pretty much the consensus on this board.
That’s not at all the consensus, but thankfully the odds of that happening are incredibly slim. Would be one of the biggest upsets in CFB in recent memory.Yes, you are correct. I think that’s pretty much the consensus on this board.
I’m not sure where you’re seeing that the weather is supposed to be crappy tomorrow. It’s actually supposed to be a great day. Partly cloudy with a 2% chance of rain and relatively low wind.we need to focus on beating the Terps. This may be tougher than expected especially if the weather is sh..t.
I tend to feel that way too (I think it’s Michigan fans just being more arrogant overall). But I also think PSU is better off just having one of them being “elite” and the other being not as good - basically the situation it has been for most of the last 10-20 years except when Michigan was cheating - because it’s easier to climb over one hill than twoI always root for OSU over Michigan. For some reason, I've always just hated Michigan more.
So, you could care less about the way people use the phrase "could care less"?That post earned my Like not just for the points you made, but for your proper use of the phrase “couldn’t care less.” It’s rare to see that versus the incorrect “could care less” and it always drives me batty lol.

And of course you should interpret this as me saying nfw PSU loses tomorrow.Yes, you are correct. I think that’s pretty much the consensus on this board.
Me too. Not particularly close.I always root for OSU over Michigan. For some reason, I've always just hated Michigan more.
More then you'll know (ugh)So, you could care less about the way people use the phrase "could care less"?
I'm literally like that with the use of the word "literally"
LOL… yes, I could care less, meaning I DO care, meaning people’s mangling of it is super annoyingSo, you could care less about the way people use the phrase "could care less"?

Weather Channel showed snow over areas of PA continuing tomorrow. it looked like it was covering SC area. Good of that is not the case.I’m not sure where you’re seeing that the weather is supposed to be crappy tomorrow. It’s actually supposed to be a great day. Partly cloudy with a 2% chance of rain and relatively low wind.
“You don’t really believe we can beat the best teams.” There is a definite talent imbalance at the top. For us to win the NC we are going to have to get severely lucky and/or get a favorable path. There’s no shame in acknowledging this fact.I would prefer for Michigan to win. If we beat Oregon in the Big 10 Championship we would have a longer rest before our first playoff game than the break between tomorrow and the first round. Most people, including the large percentage of this board, do not believe we can beat any of the top tier teams. I believe our best chance at the Natty is by playing and winning a meaningful game before the playoffs. Build the confidence and earn the rest.
If you are hoping to get a good seed outside of he top 4, instead of earning the bye, you don't really believe we can beat the best teams. So why hope for an easy path to ultimately losing to the same level opponent you don't believe we can beat. Much like Franklin wanted to control the outcome of the game against the Gophers, the team should want to control their outcome by taking the "tougher" route and playing Oregon before the playoffs. Yes a loss to Oregon might put us in a road game in the first round, with less rest. However, if we are not capable of beating Oregon than an easier starting path in the playoffs leads to the same outcome as losing to Oregon.
First and foremost, let's take care of our business tomorrow. Otherwise, for the only time in my life I say "Go Blue". Let the team earn this on the field.
