Honestly, I thought this MIGHT happen when we rehired Polk. He was getting older, and I figured he was coming back just to have a big, drawn out retirement party.
Plus, with the way the SEC was changing even as far back as 2001, with coaches like Corbin, Cohen, and Bianco coming into the league, it was only a question of would he get out of it before he was totally passed by.
Sadly, no.
