If you can, check out the editorial by Kevin Scarbinsky in todays Birmingham News. www.al.com
Pretty good write up on the Saban tv special "Under the Lights" where they show the locker room at Bama with a picture of our scoreboard with the score after we beat them last year. Article goes on to say that they shouldn't put us in the same boat with La.Monroe, and how MSU has owned the state of Alabama. The article is actually featured on the front page with a picture of both schools emblems with a statement about Saban stirring it up for bulldog fans.

Now, I've fast-forwarded to Alabama's final defensive series. Straight-up, power football, and the Tide can't stop 'em. Bulldogs back Christian Ducre breaks three tackles on his 11-yard run on 3rd-and-10.
That one was from Ian Rapaport's (sp) article.
On the contrary, when it comes to college football, Mississippi State has become the state of Alabama's daddy. That's right. The cowbell tolls for us.
Mississippi State has won its last six games against this state, two each against UAB and Alabama, one each against Auburn and Jacksonville State.
Mississippi State was the 2007 Alabama state champion and the 2006 first runner-up. If any state should respect Mississippi State, it's this state.

They beat the Auburn team that Alabama hasn't beaten in ... how long has it been?

McCready lost his job for not being Pro-Bama enough.

That article actually slammed Bama and Saban, and called Bama, MSU's *****.

Its one thing for MSU fans to post that, its another thing when an Alabama writer does it.

As a new resident in the state of Alabama, I actually enjoyed reading that article though.

Ian and Saban have had clashed several times the last couple of years. I'm pretty sure Ian's article is his way of getting back at Saban as Saban lashed out at him big time last year at a press conference.
