Why do we continue to schedule these off campus games?

Fans don’t show up. More fans show up on campus from Jackson and Tupelo than they do when on site.
Because it's neutral it might turn a Q4 game to a Q3 or a Q3 to a Q2.
Nothing to do with fans and everything to do with getting into the tourney.

I approve. they know what they are doing.

I live in the Metro area and didn't go. This is the final week of school before Christmas break for my 7th grader and thus she has final exams all week. I'm not gonna take her to the coliseum on a school night when she needs to be at home studying. I'm sure others have kids with similar exam schedules

Good for you.

There are 600K people in the Jackson Metro. Surely some people could have showed up.

They all are considered neutral sites which helps with NET and quad levels
Not for long. Ken Pom is already doing different classifications of “neutral site” games. Everyone is aware of schools attempting to get away game credit for what is essentially a home.
