Why does our OL suck?

Because they have 2 OL coaches that arent worth a crap. If they were they would be coaching somewhere else.

Part of it, is our OL is to small v more talented, larger DLs. They played better tonight v Bama than LSU. However Bama and LSU's DL, per man, are 2-3" taller and 50lb heavier than our OL.

Then the same is true for our DL. Bama and LSUs OL was much heavier and half a helmet to damn near a full helmet taller than our DL.

I thought the line played okay last night except in pass protect. We were doing fine running the ball. We just didn't pick up the blitz well at all. Some of that is coaching. Some is formation. Some of it is talent. Some of it is execution

I think the O line graded out #2 in the sec last year and returned four starters, it’s poor coaching and scheme change. You could see this coming a mile away. Cole Cubelic called it as did many others before the season began. It makes me wonder if Arnett even got to hire any of his staff, isn’t Will Friend here because he’s good friends with Brad Peterson ?

The wide splits bought Will time and provided passing lanes to throw, this is why he has so many balls batted down this year.
