Why Don't Basketball Season Ticket Holders Get Priority for the School’s Allotment?

A. I realize the allotment is small
B. I realize they’d be taken before they got to me

but, why not start with people who invested in season tickets as opposed to going by Bulldog club ranking only? Or maybe I just misunderstand the process.

“We are taking requests for up to 4 tickets, from Bulldog Club members ranked in the top 1000, to the game Thursday in Charlotte, NC. Requests will be taken until 12 noon and filled in Bulldog Club rank based on availability. All tickets are mobile so you will be notified and emailed your tickets to the email we have on file.”
