I feel like they're always too gentle asking questions. You know what they're trying to ask, "why can't our offensive line block anybody?" or "why do we keep running the ball with the same slow-developing play that doesn't work?" However, they always ask in a way as to try and lead him to say those things without simply asking him the direct questions for which the fans deserve answers.
Questions like, "are you coaching Sellers to hold the ball in one hand?" "Are you coaching Sellers to hold the ball too long?" "Why can't we block 4 linemen with 5 offensive linemen, a TE and a RB?
He says the same things every week because nobody asks him hard questions. In reality, I'm under no illusion that he would actually answer the questions with anything other than what he alwyas does, "it's an execution problem". The problem with that answer is that, at some point, it is no longer an execution problem as much as it is a play design problem. If the play have NEVER worked, it's not an execultion problem, it's a play-design problem.
