They have wasted a great defense 7 of the last 8 years by having no damn QB. They get a chance to get one while they still have some defense left, and do nothing...I just dont understand...

Seems like they paid McNair like $11m when his next best offer was about $3m. Made zero sense, like not going after Favre.

You're right about Baltimiore wasting a good defense, but Favre's not going to do well with any team other than the Packers. Look for a lot of interceptions if he plays in all the games for the Jets. As old as he is its also harder for him to shake off hard hits. The Jets gave up about what he's worth to another team at his age--a 4th round pick.</p>
