I find it more hilarious that this is over a recruit making a non-binding commitment announcement.
Right. That's odd. Of course, with NIL and easy transfers, I find it hard to get too excited about anyone except whoever is suited up each Fall.
This is the reaction a room should have when they find out the team you needed to lose so you get into the SEC championship game lost, or that you made the playoffs or at least a NY6 bowl... not that a high school kid said out loud the word "Missouri" 4 and a half months before he can actually sign anything binding and 13-14 months before he can touch the field.
