No 2022 banner? IIRC, when they one 2019, 2018 etc, they put one up almost immediately after they locked up the title
The club does a great job! We win so many Nattys that posting the banners has probably become old hat. STORY: we are getting ready to make a household move. I was clearing out a closet yesterday and decided to lump all my PSU gear in a pile. When finished, I counted 27 shirts with NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP on the front. Different sports, different years, and a few duplicates. My son-in-law (a VT guy) was slack jawed last evening when he saw so many Natty shirts on the floor. He thought about it for a while and said that he didn’t think Virginia Tech had ever won a National Championship in any sport. His comment reminded me of how very lucky we are. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS >> it’s what we do!
Apologies if it came off as me throwing shade. I've always been super impressed at how quickly the club gets those new banners up.
Breathe easy. The new banner is now there. They had to do some reformatting to fit in 2022. Too many championships. That's a good problem to have.
...and they left room for the 2023 & 2024 banners! Now that's thinking ahead! Love the problems we have!!
