Restoring the old SWC rivalries is what I see the most of.

Notre Dame isn't going to join a conference unless they are forced to. They are the only college football program with a truly national fan base. They can negotiate their own tv deal. No other program can do that.

Clemson is going to be stuck in the ACC for a while, that makes me happy. Miami will stay as well as FSU. The ACC screwed up royally when it expanded and grabbed Syracuse, BC and Pitt. Those three programs were already weak and in a region with very little fan interest in college football.

The ACC had a fantastic men's basketball conference which they ended up watering down by poaching the old Big East. But if the most $$$ is on the gridiron, and the NCAA requires a minimum of 12 members to conduct a conference championship......

I was thinking of something like tennis.

I know we played DII Francis Marion in yard during a year in which we went to Omaha.

Probably worth the money for a D2 school to play a D1, probably not for D2 to play D1 FCS. I can't see PC being able to offer much money to Newberry to play anything.
