No. This is even a bad UMASS team by their own standards. Probably worse than Maine was. I took the trip to Boston to see us play them up there at Gillette years ago. They were beating us like a rented mule in the first half. Really thought they were gonna win until Nick Fitzgerald decided he was ready to play in the 2nd half. Think we overcame an 11 pt deficit in the 4th quarter to win a game we probably shouldn't have. Fun trip though!

Looking back at how that natty ain’t meant diddly squat since then, it turns out that request was not a good one. It has meant 3 awful baseball seasons and essentially an equal time of football. I can’t tell if it really affected bball.
