I got tickets to a show in Tunica several years ago. He bailed.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, 17 you in the can with a windmill blade, Willie Nelson.

I remember that one.

Willie had a tour bus crash that postponed several dates.

I want to say there was a Jackson show that was also affected by that and that show wasn’t played until late 2014.

Worth buying a ticket to see the Avett Brothers and Mike Campbell. As far as actually wanting to hear them perform, Willie is 3rd on that poster for me.
Yeah.

The way the Outlaw Fest shows are designed is that the other musicians are showcased more & that YMMV when it comes to Willie’s performance.

I’ve been to one Outlaw show before and Willie’s set was fairly short— and really good for an 86 year old.

I was pleasantly surprised.

Is he still able to perform? He looked very feeble last time I saw him in the media.

He'll be 90 later this month.

Seeing Willie is definitely a YMMV thing but he can still record music well. He won Grammies this past go around.

Tickets don't look to cost too much. I'd get a cheap seat for five hours or so of music from the rest of the crew and hopefully Willie's short set will be a good one.

He had a good night when I saw him in St. Louis for the 2019 Outlaw.
