and it's Cael Sanderson!

This is the 4th time he's won the award. He was also the recipient in 2017, 2013, and 2011. Since 2011, no other coach has won the award more than once.

Return to Sender. Trophy is outdated and has the wrong name on it.

Nonsense. Cael can’t coach, he can only recruit. Anybody can win with all the top recruits. Besides, Casey is the real mastermind behind the dynasty. Plus, they all cheat, stall, take steroids, and have heir scholarships secretly paid off by the NLWC. All truths. Just ask HR.

Oh yeah. I almost forgot. At NCAAs, PSU’s opponents roll over for them, so they get bonus points. 🙄

In fairness, the guy at Cornell certainly had a very good year. The coach at Nebraska is really weird but his team was very solid.

In the oh so close category, just out side the runner's up group are the following...........

Rutgers was solidly in the top ten of the Big Ten......11th at BT's, but solid, consistently in the top 10. They were 9th the year before so the law of averages. They were 10th in 2021 so that is about as solid as you can be.

Okie State was tied for 18th at Nationals, 5 spots behind Princeton. Seriously, I have so much respect for Coach Smith and year like this has to make him look around and say........."why, what did I do to deserve this? Am I being punished for Mr Fast Twitch? Yes, that must be it. I accept the burden"

If he hasn't already, Smith should cool it on the heavy weight-cutting. That said, OKSt's placement had a lot to do with the implosion from the Ferrari wing-nut. Then again, now the Ferrari's are at Iowa now. If they aren't good citizens there, the Hawkeyes could also potentially implode.
