Wk 7 - Grilling, smoking & drinking

It’s week 7, and we know bourbon’s on the menu for this one. Speaking of which, it seems like as good a week as any to double up with a tall glass in one hand and maybe some bourbon glazed chicken wings in the other.

It’s homecoming week in town, I’ve just got one birthday party to navigate through tomorrow morning, and then it’s go time. What do y’all have planned?

Making three racks of St. Louis ribs and getting Saturday off to watch games all day. Should be a glorious day around the Devils house with Mrs. Devil making pasta salad as well.

Doing a beef tenderloin tonight.
Probably Larceny and MS Pot Roast tomorrow and going to cook my Polk Pick 6 winnings from STM for snack food. Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese as a side.
Pool will be chilly but the bourbon will help.

I've got NOTHING all day so I plan to participate in this sort of thing. It's hard for me to just sit and watch football nowadays so I'm sure I'll be 17-ing around in the yard fixing things. I'm grill-less at the moment too, at least the burner part, so might be looking at some cast iron steaks to go with the Maker's Mark. I'll need to cook them during Alabama/Tennessee, because I'm generally not very good at cooking and watching MSU from the peripheral.
