The debate about Clark and the Olympic team has me thinking. Do people care or are they just getting mad because of our current political climate? So, do you watch?

I've watched more this year than any other year. But it hasn't been more than a quarter at a time and only b/c of Clark. I won't watch any other game.

i'm only asking cause i've seen others say this. If Clark was on the olympic team and didn't play in the first game or played in the last minutes would you tune in to the rest of the games to maybe watch her? Or are you only tuning in if you know she's going to start/play almost the full game?
I was a season ticket holder in Houston for the first five years when my daughter played in High school but since then I only watch former MSU players when I think about it....
Never watched a minute of WNBA basketball. Won't be watching the Olympics either, with or without Clark.
Can you gamble on it? Yes. So yes I have watched it.

Does watching a few highlights on YouTube count? I never even did that before Clark. You still can’t get me to watch a live game though.
For the record, I don’t care who they put on the Olympic team. I find it funny that they are too dumb to cash in on her popularity.

I have all girls, and have watched more girls basketball than I care to remember (Upward, 5th & 6th grade, Rec league, 7-12th grade, AAU every year), which makes me uniquely qualified to say the truth. Women's sports in general are hard to watch unless there is a compelling reason. MSU in the Vic Shafer era gave MSU fans a compelling reason, but no one else cared. Clark is the only compelling reason to watch WNBA, and that's only because she will jack it up from anywhere, and when she is hot it's fun to watch.
My question is when or will the novelty wear off? In my opinion, they should lower the goal to 8 feet, that's the only chance they have to make it watchable.

I did better betting on WNBA than any sport ever when Griner and tauruse ( I cant spell it ) were killing it in Phoenix. ML was easy as 17. There were teams that weren't beating them at home or away.
Does it count if I accidentally let the remote get a little too far from my grasp, and my wife turned it on to see CC?
In fairness, I was marginally interested in seeing how Clark did so I paid attention to about 5 minutes of the game, but when my wife turned on the second game of a double header a short while later, that was where I just had to draw the line. If I wanted to watch a 72-68 game where both teams shoot 40% from the field and brick a bunch of 3s, I'd just watch a State game

I haven't ever watched a WNBA game and haven't watched an NBA game since the Lakers and Celtics had Bird, McHale, The Big Chief, Cornbread, Magic, Kareem, Rambis, Worthy, etc
