For those that follow women’s hoops, why does #4 not get more minutes? She appears freakishly athletic and provides some length.

Well, #4 is Jessika Carter, who is the most vital player on the team. Skilled 6'5" post who has pretty much been the best player on the team every season of her career after her Freshman year.

If her minutes are limited it's foul trouble, injury, or rest. Otherwise she's playing.

I think she had 37 minutes tonight, so she sat for 3.

This was the game last year when I realized Ole Miss was quite a bit better than us. They dominated the 4th quarter to beat us on our home court for the first time in many years.

We completely reversed that today. Looked really good in the 4th. Encouraging.

That’s Jessika Carter. She’s a star on the team and a 6th year senior. She played 37 minutes tonight.

She missed some games and had limited minutes earlier in the season due to some injuries, but she’s been playing full minutes for a little while now.

Are you talking about #24? She is Q Montague, a 6-6 freshman forward. If so, yes, she has some big moments but she is playing behind J Carter and E Barnum and is working through typical freshman inexperience.

Sorry, meant #24.

Oh that's Montague. She's good, but she's just young (a freshman) and generally plays behind Jessika Carter. She'll get more minutes next year or when Carter is in foul trouble. She has really great moments and some head scratching moments, but she'll be a good player for us.

Or when Carter beats the hell out of another girl for messing with her boyfriend.
