Maybe we should sing the, "We just beat the H*ll out of you!" Before the game for girls soccer.Oh great, now they will be out for revenge Saturday**
Kidding, that's a big win for the soccer team. Glad to see Armstrong keeping it rolling this year.
Smoke 'en if you got 'em. South Carolina has women's basketball. They are perennial NCs in a sport and recognized as such. I wish we had a men's team that could compete for NCs.Is this what we have level too? Getting excited about women's soccer. Glad they won but football pays the bills.
Even if we were good at football, I would still celebrate a Mississippi State win over the #11 team in soccer (or really any sport). Is this what we have level too? Getting excited about women's soccer. Glad they won but football pays the bills.
Watched it with my daughter who loves soccer and hates football. It was fun rooting for state with my daughter. So, yeah.Is this what we have level too? Getting excited about women's soccer. Glad they won but football pays the bills.
You are trying too hard. It’s fun to watch our teams win. No one is debating how we get money. But Inwish we had a James Armstrong in American Football. Dude is awesome. Is this what we have level too? Getting excited about women's soccer. Glad they won but football pays the bills.
Correct. I want State to win at everything. It's a culture thing - winning breeds winning. That's why you see football players at basketball and baseball games, and vice versa. They know.Even if we were good at football, I would still celebrate a Mississippi State win over the #11 team in soccer (or really any sport).
Same... my youngest can't get into football, but loves soccer. When our soccer team scores, it's like the only time she jumps off the couch in excitement about a Mississippi State sport, so it's great to share that experience with her.Watched it with my daughter who loves soccer and hates football. yes, because the swag shirts would beIf State puts up a tiddly winks team, I want us to win the NATwA championship. Why wouldn't you?
I've said this a few times: "If there was a sport where you had to sit in an office chair and make the most number of rotations in a minute and Mississippi State had a team that participated in that sport, then I would actively root for them and see if it was televised. If Ole Miss had a team, I would actively root against them and talk trash to their fans online when we beat them."Correct. I want State to win at everything. Haven't we won NCs in Frisby golf, CAV's fuel mileage competition and bass fishing? We won the World Championship in Rocketeering. Why not show those on campus?I've said this a few times: "If there was a sport where you had to sit in an office chair and make the most number of rotations in a minute and Mississippi State had a team that participated in that sport, then I would actively root for them and see if it was televised. I don't get this idea that you should only root for football, men's basketball, and maybe baseball.

Our Women's Golf team is very competitive. We won the SEC Championship last year, we have the #2 ranked Amateur in the world in senior Julia Ramirez, and sophomore Avery Weed won the individual title in a tournament at Vandy this past Sunday at -13.My son took his whole family to the game. Granddaughter loves soccer and has a chance to play at the college level one day so I see a whole lot of girls soccer these days and have developed a great appreciation of the effort and skill level required to play at a high level. Just be glad that we actually have a sport that is currently competitive.
Not only that, but it was OU’s first SEC game in any sport. They had their band and a fireworks show and Patti Gasso out to do the coin flip.Heard Hadad say on STM that State handed both OK and TX their first league loss as members of the SEC.
Fun little fact and piece of trivia. How bout that?! (hey guys, I'm trying)
I’m gonna have to bring my daughters up to watch a game.Up to #10 in NCAA RPI and #9 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
Big game Thursday at South Carolina. They’re undefeated (5-0-4) and just crept into the top 25 this week.
By the way, our only loss, Wake Forest is sitting at #5 right now.
Looks like we may have already done that **All NIL to girls soccer. They don’t quit
Are you in South Carolina?Well, I have been up since about 330. It's been raining solid and steady now for 3 hours. Color me shocked if they get this game in today.
Looks like moderate to heavy rain all day there. If they play before tomorrow night, it's going to be a mess. Probably should have played last night. Are you in South Carolina?

That's going to be a crowded schedule. Looks like only weekends to do it are next weekend or weekend of Oct. 20. Both schools would have to move a Friday game to Thursday, and play the makeup game on Sunday. But our already schedule games those weekends are Arkansas and at Mississippi. So not ideal to add a long road trip to a ranked team to either of those weekends.“Postponed to a later date”
