If players can play 4 games and still keep their redshirts, why have we not seen any of JJ Harrell or Sanfrisco Magee this year? Especially in the EKU and UMass games? I know JJ was hurt in camp earlier this year but I would still think we would want to get this 4 star and high 3 star guys some reps/game time to keep them satisfied and get them some experience? Have heard some opinions that some will think Stonka will hit the portal after this year. If you are in this boat, explain why? He gets ST playing time with some receiver and has made some good plays that unfortunately have been called back due to penalties, etc but being a hometown guy I don't see him leaving.

Stonka needs to play safety. He might be a quality SEC WR in another year or two, but he has a NFL future at safety.
Sanfrisco played Saturday. Had at least one catch. And yes Stonka needs to go to safety. Not sure if JJ injury has him behind or not. Was told by Rosie that the DL Hibbler is redshirting. I'm sure Hutzler would prefer to have him play. Edited to add: not that I know anything but when guys redshirt even tho it's evident they could get considerable playing time it makes me wonder. I can understand if you only get 2 or 3 plays. Seems a little like a waste but I figure if you aren't trying to get on the field you might be planning on hitting the portal. I'm worried Lebby is gonna have a mass exodus after the season putting us in another "year zero" situation

I'm not "in that boat" but losing a year of eligibility playing special teams probably doesn't excite many people. HailState.com stats say he has 1 catch for -6 yds and he doesn't show up w/ any defensive stats soooooo
