Between Shane Beamer and Bret Bielema?

I just tuned into the game.

The ref has been holding the offense for a long time when USC has been subbing on offense. Beilema mimicked the "substitution" signal toward Beamer after checking on an Illinois injured player. Beilema has been slow playing subs the entire game.

Beamer has the makings of being a head case.
All game Beamer looking like a classic case of roid rage. But he's nowhere near bulked up enough for that. So I guess just a psychopath.

The refs are letting it get out of hand. If Illinois is intentionally slow playing subs, the refs should tell the coaches get em in faster or we’re letting them snap it and then flagging you for too many on the field.
The refs in that game had no made and no control of the game. A lot of poor officiating both ways.

The substitution allowances was the worst I’ve seen — as bad as Kiffin’s players feigning injuries.

Bye-Enema is just a journeyman lucky to have a HC job at a P4

I’m on vacation and have been out of the country for almost 2 weeks so I have watched practically 0 post season football and I have no context on this besides the Twitter video.

Is there more backstory to this incident besides what is shown here? Seems to me (again the little I see here) that Beamer is just going full 95 IQ meathead… what am I missing?

Here is the play that made Beilema react the way he did.

Bielema should have beat the living sh*t out of Beamer for that. That's bush league. I wouldn't be surprised to see a rule change coming where that signal is like a fair catch signal, you can't advance it after signaling.

It's akin to me of a fake injury.

Beilema would be beloved at State. I think it's hilarious what he did.
Siding with Bert on this one. I'm surprised it's not automatically dead when touched. Is it because you have to wave clearly above your shoulders for the ref to whistle it?

There was almost a block in the back in the end zone. I wish there had been so Illinois would get a safety for that bush league play.
