They've been cheering for the AL all game and Paps coems in and they're treating him like he's satan. I don't understand Yankee fans one dang bit. Them bunch a fools think they own the game. I'm a NL fan, but the Red Sox are the only AL team that I actually have some infatuation for, so perhaps I'm biased

They blew what he said so out of proportion that its sad.

I know... They're all fools too. I'd like to visit there one day, I truly would. But if I ever have to live among all those freaks I think I'll just rather die

.....Paps if the AL loses the final All-Star game on Yankee Stadium turf. If they should be booing anyone though, it should be the catcher for that **** throw he made to 2nd. That's why the NL scored.

let's say there were an All-Star game between the SEC West and East in baseball.

Bittle comes into the game in a similiar position.

Would Bulldog fans cheer him on?

Vice versa, I'd say Ole Miss fans would have reluctantly cheered for Weatherford in such a scenario.

comes to boston. i saw somewhere that they were planning on playing like a virgin when he comes up to bat. that plus the yankee fans booing paps should make it great.

As a Cardinals fan, I want the Cubs players to do well and help the NL. Therefore, I assume I would have no problems pulling for Ole Miss players in a similar situation.

Of course I'm one of those MSU fans that would pull for Ole Miss if it meant helping MSU, like an instance where MSU needed someone like LSU to lose to win a Championship vs. hoping Ole Miss loses no matter what's at stake.

So classier fans would cheer some punk from their bitter rival in your world, huh?

i hate the yankees. not because of any of their players, but because of the fans. they're the biggest group of arseholes you can assemble in one place, and announcers and the like just laugh it off as being part of a tradition. they regualary boo and cuss at their best players. that's just out of control. there's no team in any sport i enjoy watching lose more than the yankees.

He is the closer of their biggest rival, what do you really expect? hell they booed Drew when he got MVP of the game at the end, and if it would have been held at Fenway the exact same thing would have happened. You are kidding yourself if you think Arod or Jeter would have gotten a standing ovation in Boston

Yankee fans and Red Sox fans are both pretty crappy in general. You can throw Mets and Phillies fans in there to. It's definately an East coast thing.

I feel about Bammer. I like watching the team on tv and can pull for them when they play non conference games. But if I have to be around bammer fans it puts me right back to loathing them.

Big Papi Has Some Fun With A-Rod. Alex Rodriguez did a brief interview with the writers just now. As he was talking, David Ortiz shouted out from the adjacent locker, "No more talking about Madonna please!" A-Rod paused for a second then kept talking as though he didn't hear Big Papi. Everybody else started snickering, as did Ortiz.
Oh, snap!

The SEC East/West game meant something similar to the All Star game, in that something like next year's division winner would host the SEC tourney or something like that..

Arod and ortiz are actually pretty good friends. I remember reading last year that the 2 hang out when the teams are playing each other
