They learned attendance calculation from sPitt apparently
Correct. Those empties were the student section seats. Just a late-arriving crowd due to the early start for the "Blue Out". Kids were still tailgating. They filled in nicely by the 8th inning.I’m sure it’s all just a misunderstanding.
Tickets sold. A Gopher football tradition...They learned attendance calculation from sPitt apparently
Ironically, the Minnesota State University Screaming Eagles sold more tix than sPitt does. I bet a lot of people came to see Luther’s defense though.Tickets sold. A Gopher football tradition...
I think Dauber graduated from Pitt?Ironically, the Minnesota State University Screaming Eagles sold more tix than sPitt does. I bet a lot of people came to see Luther’s defense though.
No he had a respectable job. If he graduated from sPitt he would’ve been unemployed living in his mother’s basement.I think Dauber graduated from Pitt?
Nothing is more silly than posts complaining about "official attendance" being "wrong" when everyone knowns that practically every sports team uses tickets sold as the metric not actual turnstile count. It is what it is. It is not teams lying or trying to deceive.
How many people will be going to the Yankees playoff games next week????? NONE!!! They are DONE! "You tell that son-of-a b*tch in Manfred's office that no Yankee bastard is going to the play-offs!"
add in the Mets playoff attendance and it totals nadaHow many people will be going to the Yankees playoff games next week????? NONE!!! They are DONE! Life is Good!
It’s always nice to see new teams win. The Orioles, I never saw that coming, wow. That’s a shame.

100% agree. That why I wish there was a salary cap in baseball. It would even out the chances for small market teams to compete. It’s always nice to see new teams win. The Orioles, I never saw that coming, wow.
PSU announces tickets sold during the games as “attendance.” Is the turnstile count ever released? It is deceptive because attendance is not the same thing as tickets sold. You’re not wrong that all teams do this, but attendance implies ‘people there to watch the game.’ Tickets sold means tickets sold.
