Anyone been checking out the flooding? Holy smokes! All 4 entrances are shut down! Was planning a trip, like my 10th, in the fall. Either there or Sedona, but if these roads aren't fixed my decision may be an easy one. I miss TheGlov...he would be all over this...

TJ used to love weather reports too. Wonder what he would think of this.....?

The Yellowstone River has done some major damage, as well as the Gardiner River in the North Entrance. I wonder how the Little Firehole and Big Firehole have made out. And the Snake River! My favorite fishing spots!

Just arrived at my place in Wyoming Sunday night. Heavy rain Sunday night through Monday noon. Cool temps (40s Monday, 35 this morning) supposed to hit 80s by Friday.

Stayed in Gardiner last May while visiting Yellowstone. Unbelievable what has happened out there.

Weather Channel reporting that all of Yellowstone to be closed thru June 26th. Many parts will not be opened at all for the rest of the summer. North Entrance looks awful, Gardiner is going to take a huge hit. Great town..caught lots of trout in the Gardiner River. Shame...

Owner of the Yellowstone Gateway Inn was just interviewed. Her inn, where I have stayed a few times, was booked solid every day for the entire summer. Sold out every weekend. Gardiner will be shut down for the entire summer and deep into the fall. These poor people...god awful shame...

This is just awful. I will always cherish our trip to Yellowstone 12 years ago. Almost booked again for this summer, glad I held off. And to think they have been clearing 38 foot snow drifts on the Beartooth Highway. I presume this won't matter as you can't access the park from this direction. Hopefully it's still clear if heading to Cody.

Holy sh*t! Have done the Beartooth a half dozen times. Unbelievable drive, stayed in Red Lodge after going thru. Last time we were there wasin the month of July on a Friday nite. Was going to go back thru the pass on Saturday morning but couldn't because it was snowed in!

My I’ve and I were just talking about the iconic and delicious hamburger stand Hellen’s in Gardiner. We are hoping that they can survive. Same with all other businesses.

I recall seeing a house being carried away on the Swatara Creek after hurricane Agnes in the 1970’s.

The news out of Yellowstone continues to get worse. It will cost mega $$$$ to do a fix and the work can only be done between the spring thaw and first snowfall. It will take years to get back to where it was. The economic impact will be long-term, and for many people very likely crippling.
