Not sure why they are still trying to milk that show since it's dead. Didn't even finish the last season. Had t been that great lately anyway. Sheridan starts too many other projects before finishing another one or it gets too watered down snd it loses steam

You should check out the real version of Vikings if it can be found. It’s insane how different it actually was compared to what the history channel gave us

Glad to hear someone else see this for what it is. Not sure when exactly I gave up on it.

Might have been when the 17ing Montana cow police somehow evolved into Navy Seals broaching Abbotobad with every encounter featured on screen.

Might have been when they aired the 137th dumbass 4 minute montage of calf roping with whatever Zach Bryan / Tyler Childers / Stapleton or other flavor of the week playing in the background….just to fill dead space that they were too lazy to use actual plot driven material to fill the time. A 2hr long season opening or season finale special usually contained no less than 5 such montages.

Might have been when young Jamie pulled the old hysterectomy / abortion switcheroo on young Beth….like that’s something that’s as easy to do as getting the order wrong for your buddy in the backseat at the Arby’s drive thru.

Might have been the entire Jimmy love saga that no one ever gave a 17 about.

In any case, lots of potentially fascinating subject matter available, in a very under-represented region and culture in American film. An amazing and breathtaking backdrop for most scenes. Unbelievably talented actors. But, the worst writing and storytelling imaginable. Given all the potential it had, it has to be one of the worst shows ever created in human history. Maybe the worst one that anyone ever took seriously.

Again they have nothing new to show because of the writers strike so it’s just an easy filler show.

Much like when a group of Bills fans watch a football game in their Josh Allen jerseys in the basement of an upstate New York mid 70's rambler, I can't help but imagine a large cohort of Yellowstone fans in the south are putting on their Cowboy hats and boots before plopping down in the lazyboy in the double wide Clayton to watch the next episode of Fake Montana Cowboy Soap Opera.
