There are a LOT of talented players in this league, including some former NFL All-Stars. USC is well represented with approximately six players in the league, including DJ Swearinger and Zaquandre White.

The pace is much faster than the NFL and the rules make the game much more entertaining.

The 4th and 12 rule is something that makes last-minute come-from-behind victories a common occurrence in the league and the fans love it.

The passion for the game is more similar to that of college football and the SEC.

The NFL signed over 50 UFL players to contracts last year, which speaks volumes to the talent level of the league.

...and the UFL has a kicker that kicked a 64-yard and a 62-yard field goal IN THE SAME GAME... AND HE HAD NEVER KICKED A FIELD GOAL SINCE HIGH SCHOOL!!!

Luis Perez is a former national champion who is in the running for league MVP as a quarterback... who learned to play the position WATCHING YOUTUBE. He is extremely intelligent and sometimes calls his own plays.

The parity of the league is what may surprise you. Very rare to see a blowout.

There are several NFL head coaches coaching in this league and several NFL players are coaching as well.

Games are on ABC, FOX, ESPN.

Just looked it up. Didn't even know the season had concluded.

Average attendance at all UFL games was 13,512.

I'm sure fans don't travel. In the games I saw it looked like they only sold tickets on the home side. Maybe they give tickets away, not sure. But it looks like a fun afternoon. I enjoyed the games I watched. There were several familiar names. I believe Swearinger was released mid season. I enjoyed what I watched of it. This is a time of year with not much to watch on weekend.

I don't know...I'm not that bored yet, I guess. My 7, 4 and 3 year olds make sure of that :)

Even if not at the game, the buzz of the crowd comes through on tv broadcasts. I just don't think I could get into that had high school level crowds (or worse). The Memphis team averaged fewer that 7,000 fans/game. Byrnes stadium holds 8,000.

After a little digging I see tickets were $22-$24. I would maybe go to one game for free if I lived in or near the city. I thought NFL had some ownership in this league, sort of a D league. But that does not appear to be the case.
