This certainly wasn't a banner year for the Maroon and White but I would put both basketball programs as the best stories for 2023. Jans and Purcell have done a tremendous job up to this point.

Not even a footnote in the history of MSU sports, but beating Ole Miss in baseball on the Dakota Jordan walkoff hit followed by the concert was an enjoyable day. Great weather, record crowds, etc. I hope that more events like that take place, especially in the context of more successful seasons. This certainly wasn't a banner year for the Maroon and White but I would put both basketball programs as the best stories for 2023. Agreed all the way, Exact same here for me as well. I was gonna post those two things. When football gets better it will be that much sweeter with what happened to our team. Lebby just needs to keep working hard as hell in the off season for the right recruits. He’s been no slouch already. It would have to be either when Lebby was announced or when the Men's Basketball team beat Rutgers. It's been a ****** year.
Concur! That was awesome. Can't wait for baseball, we'll make the SEC and National tourney and be in the hosting conversation. 100% lock on that prediction (although I know some of you guys are expecting us and even rooting for us to fail). Not even a footnote in the history of MSU sports, but beating Ole Miss in baseball on the Dakota Jordan walkoff hit followed by the concert was an enjoyable day. I was there right by the on deck circle when that happened. That explosion of fans really brought me back. Let's have a bunch of that in '24.Not even a footnote in the history of MSU sports, but beating Ole Miss in baseball on the Dakota Jordan walkoff hit followed by the concert was an enjoyable day.
