My favorite moment was the unveiling of the incredible renovations at the Hump. Just when everyone thought the Spirit of Lonnie had faded from memory, we were all reminded that we can forget the hearse because he never dies.

This certainly wasn't a banner year for the Maroon and White but I would put both basketball programs as the best stories for 2023. Jans and Purcell have done a tremendous job up to this poin

It would have to be either when Lebby was announced or when the Men's Basketball team beat Rutgers. It's been a ****** year.

Not even a footnote in the history of MSU sports, but beating Ole Miss in baseball on the Dakota Jordan walkoff hit followed by the concert was an enjoyable day. Great weather, record crowds, etc. I hope that more events like that take place, especially in the context of more successful seasons.

I went to the aTm basketball game at home, I suppose that was the high point. I was also happy that we did in fact retain Lemonis, I think we avoided what would have been one of the bigger mistakes in our baseball history.

Agreed all the way, Exact same here for me as well. I was gonna post those two things. When football gets better it will be that much sweeter with what happened to our team. Lebby just needs to keep working hard as hell in the off season for the right recruits. He’s been no slouch already.

Arnett being fired. It actually gave me hope in our athletic department and for the future. And yes that is a GD sad statement on how bad the year was

There were 3:

The end of the basketball season.
The end of the baseball season.
The end of the football season.

“All I saw was 3 wins”

Concur! That was awesome. Can't wait for baseball, we'll make the SEC and National tourney and be in the hosting conversation. 100% lock on that prediction (although I know some of you guys are expecting us and even rooting for us to fail).

The first quarter of the Arizona game. The only exciting quarter of football we had all season with the interceptions and points scored.

Basketball… that Arizona state game to open the season was exciting, Washington state win and Northwestern wins were very fun.

In football, it would definitely be winning the Reliaquest Bowl for the Pirate. In basketball, sweeping OM and seeing our name in the bracket on Selection Sunday for only the second time in 13 years. A shoutout to women’s soccer too for having their best season ever, and advancing to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history.

I was there right by the on deck circle when that happened. That explosion of fans really brought me back. Let's have a bunch of that in '24.

Men’s and Women’s both being in the NCAAs. Made for a really special trip to see the men in Dayton and the women in South Bend on back to back days.
