The Super Bowl is coming soon, and it invariably features some very creative and entertaining commercials. With that in mind, I thought I would start this thread. The following commercial is currently my favorite. Just awesome, especially the moment when the kid turns away from his dad and dad pulls down his arm in celebration of the kid not wanting to go to 'Vegas. "And of course they have raw, unseasoned broccoli ... With stems." ROFL.

This is my favorite commercial of all time. Never gets old.
More than a little dated, but still memorable.
Probably no one. Joe didn't shave his legs on screen. Commercial was for Hanes pantyhose. Started with the toes. to the feet, up hairless legs, then a pair of gym shorts, a Jets jersey, to Joe's smiling face.
Did do two commercials for Noxema shave cream, one with Farah Fawcett, but it was applied to his face. Not sure if he shaved.

I'm not a fan of insurance commercials. Flo is annoying, the gecko is stupid, and the emu makes no sense. But something about the commercial where Dr Rick is trying to prevent people from becoming their parents hits the right note for me.
I love Dr. Rick! In fact, my kids made a video of themselves acting out some of the Dr. Rick commercials as a gift for me this Christmas.
Let me just interject here. There is nothing more annoying then watching the Super Bowl at a gathering with people that could care less about the game and make a big deal about the commercials. They talk and talk and talk while the game is on being played to a level you can't hear the announcers(sometimes that is a good thing though) but when the commercials come on they are dead silent and then you start talking and the shoosh you!! I damn near almost thru my beer at someone several years ago. Needless to say this had added to my disliking people that are not my people and staying away from most superbowl gatherings. Stepping off my soap box now. There has been some really funny commercials thru the years.
Only if you skip the de-caf. Nothing like filling a toddler with caffeine prior to opening up Christmas gifts...
