Carmon has a knee so he will be less agile...he already struggled vs AU in pass protect, don't want him on the defensive ends. We run left so I would rather have Jackson at LG than Carmon.</div>

Running game has to take priority over passing game. I think Clausell will protect the QB's blindside well enough. The right side of this line should be pretty good at the line of scrimmage.

The Center calls the protections. Day is just too green to pick up the schemes. Saulsberry is very experienced and smart. He can read the D much better. Plus he's a leader, a veteran, the whole line should be able to feed off him better. We could get our rythym back.
Then I'd get Carmon at either LT or RG, maybe depending on the situation. We need a goal line package for punching the ball in the end zone. The off season talk of getting Cox in as a FB needs to happen, or have him line up in the wishbone as a lead blocker. We can't settle for FG's or have to throw on 3rd and 3.

LT: Clausell/Carmon
LG: Jackson
C: Saulsberry/Day
RG: Carmon/Hardy
RT: Lawrence

Part of the reason I think they are trying to work Carmon in at Guard is because Saulsberry really isnt blocking anyone either. His best attribute is his leadership ability, which is why the staff wants to move him back to center, where pure drive blocking isnt as important as assisting with the reads, making good snaps, etc. Clausell really hasn't been much worse than anyone else on the line so far. <div>
</div><div>That said, if Carmon seems to be catching on pretty well at G, I would make it Clausell/Jackson/Saulsberry/Carmon/Lawrence. </div>
